Native navigation functionality deprecated after Bluelink subscription cancellation

Has anyone else felt unduly pressured or bullied into re-subscribing to Bluelink following a cancellation, due to overly deprecated functionality?

For example, the Palisade has built-in native onboard navigation features that do not require Bluelink. These features are, or should be, very adequate and similar to the features of a handheld Garmin, mobile phone, or other GPS device working solely off GPS signals. With updated infotainment, navigation, POI and map software downloads, we should have an abundance of good navigational features, like these other devices, even without Bluelink.

Unfortunately, after cancelling Bluelink, our native POI and voice command requests for directions cease to function normally through the native built-in navigation system. Voice command requests always result in an annoying response to the effect that "the location cannot be found; however, a search would be more successful with a Bluelink subscription". It also appears that manual (typed-in) requests are less responsive. We can understand an occasional improvement advantage with a current subscription, but not a blanket failure for all inquiries with voice command. This makes us suspect that something is not right.

We get the sense that Hyundai is handicapping the native features in order to push us into an expensive Bluelink subscription. We are familiar with Android Auto and Car Play alternatives, but we like the built-in navigation display and features of the Palisade much better than our phone. As such, it is extremely frustrating that the navigation is deprecated and filled with reminders to re-subscribe to Bluelink to the point of rendering the built-in navigation almost useless.

Out of fairness, perhaps we have missed a feature or setting that would allow the proper use of the built-in navigation without Bluelink. If anyone has any suggestions, we would appreciate hearing from you. We would also enjoy hearing from you if you have experienced similar feelings to those we have had.
