Ice on windshield

First time in winter weather with our 2024 Palisade Calligraphy, and it's horrible so far. I can't keep the windshield clear. I've got probably 3/8" ice encasing the front end of the vehicle, and stuck in a Kansas blizzard. Thoughts? I'll scrape the windshield to get it clear, and with the settings below, it just starts freezing on the top outside edges on the windshield until it progresses to the 2nd picture below.
