Hey Gang, we are interested in installing a tow hitch on our 2023 Palisade Calligraphy. We were quoted $2k from our local dealer. The service rep advised us that they send most of their customers to U-Haul to get a hitch installed for considerably less. I was hoping the group could help me with a few questions:
1. Has anyone had U-Haul install a hitch on their 2023 Palisade? If so, what was your experience and were you happy with the results?
2. Now that Hyundai is offering the factory wiring harness, does it makes sense to order the factory harness and have U-Haul install that instead of the harness they will provide?
3. Will we lose any options, like brake-assist, if we don't use the factory wiring harness?
As you can tell from these questions, I am a complete towing newbie. We are interested in towing a small trailer to transport our golf cart and help with an upcoming move. Thanks in advance for any guidance!
