Do you pay extra for a dealer vehicle swap?

A dealer about 500 miles away has exactly the configurarion Palisade I want and my local dealer said he can swap one on his lot for the other. Has anyone done this and do you know if there were additional transportation charges added to the existing one?

I did it with my santafe no extra charge for me it was about 200 miles away

Hi! I just did this. My local dealership didn't have the color combo that I wanted, but a dealership in OH did. They did a dealer<>dealer exchange, but the dealership in OH wanted an additional $300! Also, instead of shipping it, the local dealership is driving up to OH to pick it up and drive it back, which means I'll get it with about 400 or so miles on it, but at least I don't have to pay shipping costs or worry about damages in transport.

In NC and purchased from Ohio dealer...including the cost of transportation on truck here, paid much less than MSRP and several thousand less than local dealership was asking.

Do you mind naming the dealer and/or dealership town/city. Palisades not discounted below MSRP in N. Va.
